On 22.10.2014 and 24.10.2014, the kick-off meeting was held with partners of project „Biomass logistics centre" (BLC).
On Wednesday, 22.10.2014, partners met in Rajec, in EKOKLASTER office of BIOMASA Association. During the meeting, partners agreed on detailed project schedule and tasks for the coming period. In the afternoon, the chairman of CS Rajec, Mr. Stefan Fusko together with colleagues welcomed present participants in forests of Porubská valley where CS Rajec operate. Visitors became familiar with kinds of treatments of forest biomass and discussed together introduction of innovation with implementation of project.
On Friday, 24.10.2014 representatives of the Department of Power Engineering, the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering of the University of Zilina welcomed project partners. Present were welcomed by the vice-rector for development prof. Ing. Jozef Jandačka, PhD. and the head of department prof. RNDr. Milan Malcho, PhD. Both presented research projects of department and present became familiar with many research laboratories. The agenda was completed with common lunch and mutual wish of successful project implementation.
