Many important attendees included Her Excellency Mrs Inga Magistad, Ambassador of Norway to Slovakia, project managers of Norway funds at the Government Office of the Slovak Republic Michal Porubský and Beatrix Černá, director of EEA grants from Innovation Norway in Oslo Tore Lasse By and many other distinguished guests.

The project is financed from grant provided by the Kingdom of Norway through Norway Financial Mechanism and co-financed by state budget of the Slovak Republic. The goal of project is to contribute to increased efficient use of biomass in various form in order to reduce emissions and to promote business in this sector. The important role within project is to secure and sale wide range of wood and alternative fuels. After completion of the centre, new 33 vacancies will exist in region. The project is implemented by BIOPEL together with project partners in the framework of "Green Industry Innovation Programme", which was launch by the Government Office of the Slovak Republic as the programme operator.

After signing grant agreement and other documents, distinguished guests took opportunity to see a prospective locality of project in Kysucký Lieskovec and became familiar with pelletizing unit of BIOMASA association.
